DIGITAL CONSISTENCY - An Example
What happens when parents ask AI to find an appropriate school for their child? I wanted to know so I created two imaginary children, a boy and girl aged twelve and asked the same question. I am based in Perth South of the river and I am looking for a reliable good school for my 12 year old son. He is interested in programming and coding, likes basic mathematics and engineering. He does display some learning difficulties and is a bit of a loner. Travel of no more than 30 minutes is acceptable. I want a school that is going to make my son part of the team and encourage learning. Single or mixed sex schools are ok and I am happy to pay a suitable price if necessary. The school can be public or non-government. Draft me a list of three recommended schools and give me some details on why the school was chosen and why it is better then the others. Table format would be good. Also give me the two most important criteria that you looked for. I asked for the son first and then once I had a response I asked AI to include targeted public reports. I was very surprised with the change in recommendations. I was also surprised to find that my question about the daughter automatically included public reports.
The reason that I have completed this exercise is because I have authored an EBook called Digital Consistency which is available on Amazon and I wanted to demonstrate the consequences of not being up to date with your public documents.
This not just relevant for schools. Businesses will be affected the same way.
Here is my report. I have left the named schools in because everything has come from the public domain. Happy to receive feedback.
